Circuit’s cleanliness and environment

The area of the Paul Ricard circuit expands over hundreds of wooded hectares with pine forests located in a protected zone. Everyone is asked to respect the place and not to smoke on the hills, use bins and ashtrays for the well being of people and environment.

What happens if an event is called off?

In the extremely unlikely situation that an event is called off, please call the booking line on +33 4 91 05 58 52.

Where can I get a timetable?

Details to be confirmed online closer to the date of the event.

Can I take photos?

Yes please feel free to take as many photos as you wish, as long as it is for personal and non commercial use.

Can I bring any pets?

Animals are not allowed in the Circuit area. But small dogs can be accepted. No pet will be accepted in the pits nor in the pit lane. And we recommend you not to leave your pet inside your car in the parking.

Where are the viewing areas in the Circuit?

The Circuit offers different public areas to allow spectators to watch the happening on track:

  • Grand Prix Hall: the building is located in the “Virage du Pont” turn in front of the starting line, with 600 not covered grandstand seats. Inside: toilets, lift, restaurant, snack bar and seats for lunch. Parking.
  • Main grandstand: located in the starting straight line, opposite to the pit building, with 4,400 not covered outside grandstand seats. Ramp for wheelchairs, toilets, snacks and drinks, picnic areas with tables. First-aid station. Parking.
  • Hills in the “Double Droite du Beausset” turn; from Grand Prix Hall until “Le Beausset” turn, walking access (no seats). Toilets, snacks and drinks.
  • Pit Building: inside access limited. The roof of the main building and the paddock are accessible for spectators with a Paddock pass (depending on events). Inside lift for disabled spectators.

Is there any entertainment or activities for the public?

The Village with public entertainment is accessible for all spectators with an entrance ticket. Souvenir shops, animations, exhibitions and activities are offered (depending on events). Some animations are charged for admission (go-karting).

Can I meet some drivers?

Autograph sessions with the main drivers are organizes during major events generally on Sunday’s race in the Paddock. You have to buy a ticket with Paddock access to attend the autograph sessions. These sessions do not last over one hour, so it is recommended to check the schedule and the place in the official programme.

Where can I have lunch on spot?

During the event, snacks and drinks are opened in the public areas: Grand Prix Hall (and also a restaurant), main grandstand, Paddock, Karting. You will be able to find soft and hot drinks, sandwiches, pizzas, hot dogs, ice creams, pies, chocolate snacks…

Are there any toilets facilities on spot?

Toilets are fitted in public areas: Grand Prix Hall, main grandstand, Paddock, Karting.

How can I go around within the Circuit area?

We will be thankful if you respect the pedestrian zones to walk inside the circuit area. During major events, buses are available for spectators between the main grandstand and the Grand Prix Hall (Village area)

Where can I find any help during the event?

Hostesses are at your disposal during the event in the public areas in order to help and assist you.

Where can I have first aid and medical assistance if necessary?

For our major events, qualified staff and facilities are available in the public areas. In the Paddock, the circuit is equipped with a Medical Centre for first aid and also a drop zone for helicopter if a medical emergency evacuation is necessary.

BOOKING AND PURCHASE

Which access is included in the entrance ticket?

The entrance ticket will give you access to the circuit’s public areas: main grandstand, Grand Prix Hall, entertainment area (village). Depending on the event, the entrance ticket can also include the Paddock access (it will be specify on the ticket).

How much are tickets at the gate?

Prices are different depending on the event and the kind of access it gives.

What is the age limit for a child ?

A child under 12 years old will have a free entrance access (depending on events). An identity card may be asked.

Do children need a ticket?

No, entrance is free for children under 12 accompanied with an adult (depending on events). An ID card may be asked. It is truly recommended to the parents not to bring their very young child because of the noise of some racing cars (single-seaters, GT cars…)

Is there any discount for groups?

There is no reduction for groups or multiple ticket purchases because of the attractive prices.

How can I get my ticket?

Entrance tickets for Paul Ricard Circuit events are sold on the website (payment by credit card) and at the circuit’s ‘souvenir’ shop located just before the entrance (payment by cash or credit card).
If you choose to buy your ticket online, you have to print it as it will be asked at the circuit’s entrance. No ticket is sent by post mail.
It is really recommended to buy your ticket online to avoid queuing at the gates on the day of the race.

What time do the gates open/close?

The circuit’s entrance gates are usually opened 30 minutes before the first test session on track, and are closed 30 minutes after the last podium. We recommend you to check in advance the programme on www.circuitpaulricard.com

How can I get in the Circuit?

The cash desks are situated at the entrance gates and different traffic lanes are organized for the different types of visitors:

  • Main gate: access with official event pass (circuit staff, event staff, competitors, guests, media, official staff)
  • Fast lane (gates 1 to 3): access for spectators who already bought their entrance ticket
  • Cashdesk (gates 4 to 7): access for spectators who need to buy their ticket (payment by cash or credit card) Important: no bank check accepted.

Where can I park my vehicle?

We have a large number of parking spaces (in general free of charge) in the public areas. Our security staff will show you the direction to your parking:

  • Main grandstands’ parking
  • Grand Prix Hall’s parking is reserved to prestigious cars (depending on events, subject to availability)

The parking located near the Paddock is strictly reserved to people with official event pass.

Can I park overnight?

No, spectators are not allowed to leave their vehicle (whatever it is) parked overnight in the Circuit (unless exceptionnal case).

What time do car park open / close?

Parking spaces are accessible at the opening and until the closing time of the circuit main gates.

Can I get in to the Pit and or Paddock area?

The Paddock is the area used for race teams’ trucks. The access is allowed to the public (depending on events) having a ticket including the Paddock access.
The spectators are not allowed to go in teams garages (excepted team’s agreement).

Does the Circuit provide access for disabled ?

People in wheelchair have access to the designated public areas. A ramp is available in the main grandstand. Lifts enable the access to the Grand Prix Hall’s terrace and the Pit Building’s roof. Parking places are reserved for the vehicle of disabled people.

DRIVING EXPERIENCES

Can I drive my own car on the track?

To drive your own car on the Circuit, you have to be a member of a car club or a participant to a driving session.

Can I drive a race car on the track?

Yes if you are on the entry list of a motorsport event. If you want to rent the track for private testing, please contact the sales department of the Circuit.

Can I drive a sportscar on the track?

Yes it is possible thanks to the driving experiences organised by the Paul Ricard Circuit.
